I

Mario Coronado

GManager Corporate Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility, Telefónica del Perú

My experience with InnovAcción was that of a quantum leap in the process of personal development. Furthermore, it allowed me to look at the unconscious part of the processes that are normally experimented in an organization without being conscious: authority, leadership, formation of groups. It meant to open the door and discover the hope for a transformation of society one by one, in the here and now.

2003

I

Eduardo Gastelumendi

Psychoanalyst

The seminar moved guts. As if that was not enough, it also offered space for reflection. Its effects continued for months.

2003

I

Soledad Mendoza

Psychologist, Consultant in leadership

The power of the experiential learning, with the unconscious dimension made explicit, enabled me to discover that, when a blindfold falls, what is uncovered produces an effect so strong and liberating that it can be permanent. I discovered that not taking the risk to recognize and express our emotions, is to deny ourselves the possibility and the right of living, instead of merely surviving.

2003

I

Lisbeth Sanchez

Director of the Peruvian Chapter of AFS Intercultural Programs

The past and the future become an active present that boosts the experience undergone and the long-term vision. In this respect, the force of transformation continues growing.

2003

I

Maria Paz de la Puente

Psychoanalyst

I have the feeling that it is exactly what I was looking for at this point in my life.

2003

I

Luis Angel Piazzon

Full Professor of Finances ESAN University

As educator and an individual, the experience of the Seminar was really striking, enlightening as to the real barriers in our perception, communication, interaction, group work and learning, in addition to the role of the unconscious in all the acts of our life. If we do not know ourselves, we will not be able to improve, let alone make an impact in the future of others.

2004

II

Carmen Morales

Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Professor at the “Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazón”

"It was a great experience in my life. How it helped me to overcome so many fears! It brought along my opening up much more to my own creativity and to society, to what I have to offer and contribute to change. At that moment I decided to turn into a book my studies related to the emotional effects left by traumatic experiences (like the last earthquake), and how to prevent them.

2004

II

Beatriz Boza

CAD Executive Director – Ciudadanos al Día.

This experience gives the manager and the director tools to understand and administer the company’s relations with its environment

2004

II

Luis Eduardo Romero

Economist

As an individual, this seminar has helped me to see and feel life in a different way, and this has impacted me personally, in my family, and in the role I have in the institution I represent. It has been an incomparable experience, I would have liked to have earlier; but it is never too late to reinitiate a process of learning in favor of transformation.

2004

II

Lucrecia Aliaga Sidia

Servant of Saint Joseph President of the Religious Confederation of Perú

I found myself wrapped in my own fears, resisting change, clinging to what was known to me. The group was a solid space for liberation. In a sometimes confusing but ultimately beautiful quest, we were able to see ourselves as men and women with a potential for leadership, capable of creating humanity, innovating life, history here and now.

2005

III

Inés Cottle Pazos

Psychotherapist

I found an overwhelming force inviting me to take a trip inside myself and at the same time as parto f an institucional team. I allowed myself to enter deeply and I realized that my personal transformation is completely linked to the transformation of the team. My idea of identity changed, today I feel being an individual as well as a part of a “we”. To discover this richness is what makes me testify and act in consequence. I came to this learning not by books but by the means of an experience, which is difficult to explain, one has to live it. An honest and committed staff, transparent and capable of self critique, reconciled me with the possibility to belong to an institution. I feel profoundly renovated and with desire to commit even more to social transformation.

2005

III

Mina Maggiolo

Mina Maggiolo Director National Symphonic Orchestra

You cannot imagine how useful the seminar was for me in my work as Director of the Symphonic Orchestra; managing dynamics with 87 persons, realizing that there are forces within the groups and that if I am able to identify them and communicate with them, I can lead and guide them creatively.

Carlos Heeren

Apoyo Consulting; Professor of Postgraduate School of Universidad del Pacífico

One finds oneself all of a sudden and without looking for it very much (or even avoiding it), on a path that leads to encountering oneself, as an individual and as a member of society. This insight and its acceptance of what one is, in the middle of strangers who end up being fellows, brings along from joy to tiredness but, above all, provides a space for asking oneself if the chosen path has all the stops, companies, and deviations it deserves. An experience I can only recommend.

2006

IV

Susanne Friese

Manager Human Resources, KLM Cia. Real Holandesa de Aviación, Sucursal Perú

InnovAcción´s Conference has helped me to recognize suppositions and unconscious mechanisms in my organization. That awareness has allowed me to release that energy that was restrained and that I could not take advantage of. Today I work more efficiently, I take decisions with more confidence, I see potential where I previously could not.

2006

IV

Jose Luis Villacorta Cedron

Chief of Departament of Management and Leadership of the Banco de Crédito BCP.

I read many books about Leadership and gave courses on specialized Leadership, but I never understood what it really meant until I went through the experience of the Conference. Now I don’t intend to teach leadership anymore, I only help to discover it...!

2006

IV

Francois Meslier

Director, Eurelectric Delegate, EDF (Electricity of France, Paris)

It has been my third participation: once in France, once in UK, and once in Lima. Why did I attend in Peru? Because I thought the experience would be stronger and more efficient in a distant place from my usual living place. And it has been the case: a strong staff, highly motivated students, a nice location. How could I escape from a strong involvement? I recommend this seminar for those who intend to better understand themselves, to modify their interactions with their environment, to have the courage to grow.

2006

IV

Ydania Roncalla

Ydania Roncalla Attorney-at-Law Estudio Navarro, Ferrero & Pazos

In the Seminar I experienced sensations that I don’t know if they were real or dreamt, but they helped me discover the path to overcome barriers and prejudices that prevent us from growing and developing ourselves freely within our organizations. I recommend InnovAccion, especially to those who think that they do not need a space for reflection to find and rediscover themselves.

Rebekah O´Rourke

Melbourne Australia

Having traveled such a distance from Australia to Peru to attend the conference, I was hoping that the travel would be worth it. I was not disappointed. Through the powerful learning process of the conference I was able to understand how I was being perceived in my place of work back home and how this needed to be transformed if I wanted to be more effective in my work. Things came to the surface for me, that I had been unable to see previously. It was extremely useful for my career.

2007

V

Maria Isabel Cigueñas Espinel

General Manager, Innovación Empresarial S.A.C.

I became aware that aside from "wanting" something, it is also necessary to actually have courage, courage to feel, to communicate, in order to act and make things happen.

2007

V

Nilda Escobedo

Training and Development Manager, Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus y Johnston S.A.A.

I saw myself from those “blind angles”, which I had not wanted to recognize before. As a leader, it has been useful for me in letting the team make its own way, discover its own potential and achieve its own sustainable results, without imposing my own ideas.

2007

V

Sandra Romero Oroza

Manager Human Ressources, Mibanco

This Seminar gave me the great opportunity to break many mental schemes, a great experience to learn from the experience, question oneself and rethink the role one takes as a Leader in all areas of life. It is definitively the perfect space to open up and change certain aspects of our lives and start the process of transformation.

2007

V

Sandro Venturo Schultz

Strategy Director Toronja / Comprehensive communication agency

I admitted that I had spent my life facing authoritarianism and that I was made just like that. While I had managed to build a “modern” organization, it had been predominantly based on bilateral affective relationships; thus, my power was not threatened. However, my authority was not enriched either. Now that we are building a pyramid based on governance, as well as a circle in the creative processes, I face new dilemmas; but there is no doubt that the organization I head is better: from conflict comes the productivity of our work.

2008

VI

Carlos Alberto Perales

Capital Markets and Financial Planning Director, Telefónica del Perú.

I understood that our working environment moves within different systems and sub–systems, and that learning to identify each one of the signs those systems provide are the key to understand how to build an institution.

2008

VI

Daniel Torres Cox

Law student at PUCP, member of the Law School Council, June 2008 – May 2009.

InnovAcción was –and continues to be– a unique experience for me. It gave me the opportunity to identify, explore and transform the roles I take in each of the areas I perform in until present. I can state that InnovAccion moves you to act, to transform, to be the real protagonist of your own life.

2008

VI

Nancy Durand

Religious to the Sacred Heart.

The Conference was an excellent learning from experience. It helped me to be more conscious of the dynamics that take place in a group and to be more attentive to them so as to know how to locate myself and take my place. I was able to discover unconscious things that hindered my participation within a group.

2008

VI

Vasco Masías

Entrepreneur, OVO Productos del Sur S.A

The becoming aware of the one-in-the-group, the-group-in-me, is something surprisingly scarce in our daily life. Simple and very valuable. It is nice to become aware of the fact that we are all-part-of-a-whole more ample, a human tribe with common vibration, with destinies, present times and senses inevitably shared. I learned very much. I would do it again a hundred times.

2009

VII

Ana Quiroz

School Director “José Antonio Encinas Franco” Pamplona Alta, Member of Women’s Association Mujeres Batalla, Ashonka Social Entrepreneur.

I saw myself uncovered, and found in my subconscious the reason why I always acted so quickly when the processes have to do with harmony, color, creativity, tenderness and technique.

2009

VII

Javier Castro

Echecopar Law Firm Associate.

Few times in my life have I had the chance to interact, during such a short period of time, with a group with such different visions, all of which helped me question my own roles in the various aspects of daily life and to seek, as a group, an aspiration for a common development.

2009

VII

Johan Grant

Ph D. Cert psychologist. CEO of Organisationspsykologerna.

After the conference I have been able to make several highly important decisions carving out a comprehensive strategy for our company forward.

2009

VII

Santiago Graña

President to Graña y Asociados Corredores de Seguros S.A.

I always complied with my formal business engagements without focusing in the human aspects in a profound and transparent way. The Conference came about in a crucial time of my life; today we have a very relaxed working environment collaborating in the personal growth of all and of the company itself. Nevertheless I think that the work has not finished, it requires permanent attention. That is why I am committed to InnovAcción.

2010

VIII

Carlos Peralta

Coach ontológico

… from the role of a coach, the experience of the seminar allowed me to recognize the traps and entanglements of rationality one can fall into … to know the emotions that allow and prevent me to relate through the lived experience… this Seminar has utmost utility for any person.

2010

VIII

Juan Quispe Huatta

Echecopar Law Firm Associate.

… since my participation I am very different… it strengthened my sensitivity to understand my institution as a leader.

2010

VIII

Víctor José Willstätter Valencia

Manager Engineering and Projects Moly-Cop Adesur

The seminar helped me with my personal and professional relationships, in terms of making better use of my time, and in efficiency understanding my role in the organization as my own. There is no transformation without knowledge, if we want a real transformation we have to start from there, and this seminar really does that.
